What is the GAPP Program?

The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid program that provides services to medically fragile children ages 5-21, who are in need of skilled and unskilled services. There is NO OUT OF POCKET COST to the family. Services are approved based on the child’s medical needs, and families who are eligible for Medicaid can apply for GAPP at any time

The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) serves children over the age of 5 for unskilled services. Children under the age of 5 require skilled home care nursing care and must currently be receiving physician ordered services to be considered eligible for this program.

What care services are provided?

We offer a wide variety of home health care services including, but not limited to personal care/ hygiene, mobility assistance, recuperative care, wound care, catheter care, visiting nurses, insulin injections, medication administration, wheelchair assistance, respiratory treatment, and G-tube care.

Conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, trach/vent dependency, seizure disorders, and other complex medical needs may qualify

Skilled nursing (RNs and LPNs), certified nursing assistant (CNA) support, respiratory and feeding tube care, and more—right in the home.
